Baker Chevrolet of Allegan is seeking to hire two candidates for this position.
Service Technician Position:
Top pay for qualified individuals.
Closed on Saturday and Sunday to allow a work/life balance.

Responsibilities:
- Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with the dealership.
- Test drive vehicles, and test components & systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with Service Advisors so that customers can be informed of any additional services needed.
- Provide an estimate of time needed for current repair or any additional repairs needed.
- Executing repairs under warranty as outlined in manufacturers’ specifications and requirements
Qualifications:
- ASE Certifications are ideal but not required
- Strong automotive background
- Strong teamwork values
- Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check upon hiring
- Must have a valid driver’s license
