Milieu Therapist
UPMC
UPMC is seeking a Milieu Therapist for our 6A Withdrawal Management unit. In this role, you will support adults undergoing substance withdrawal by maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment and implementing structured daily programming. Responsibilities include monitoring patient behavior and withdrawal symptoms, facilitating therapeutic and psychoeducational groups, and providing 1:1 interventions using evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches. You will document observations accurately, collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, and social workers, and assist with admissions, discharges, and patient education.
