Quality Control

Job Summary We are currently looking for a Mill Quality Control who reports to the shift Mill Operator and/or Operations Manager. Responsibilities Taking samples off the screen decks every hour to ensure material is in spec. Checking all equipment to ensure it is in good order and operating correctly. Reporting any defects or safety issues to Mill Operator, maintenance department, or Operations Manager. Changing screens when needed to maintain a quality product. Greasing screen decks daily and other equipment as needed if a problem arises. Assisting maintenance if needed when the plant is down or helping the mill laborer with clean‑up while the plant is being repaired. Following all MSHA regulations and helping maintain a safe work environment. Requirements Work independently with minimum supervision. Basic data entry skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
