California Dreaming – the ultimate destination for those who love California and the relaxed modern bohemian lifestyle it embodies.Position Overview:Initiating and updating the seasonal print charts while maintaining records with original headers for copyright purposesTextile design, artwork clean-up, and creating repeats in Photoshop and IllustratorMaking print requests and communicating with overseas vendorsUpdating seasonal prints and palettes in PLMPrinted accessory design, including scarves, blankets, aprons, and stationeryCreating tech packs and SMS orders through PLMCreating accessory line sheetsTechnical drawings for new styles in IllustratorOrganizing print strike-offs, accessory prototypes, and SMS samplesSetting up print appointments with art studiosWorking in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlinesDemonstrating a strong work ethic, proactive collaboration, and support for the fast-growing JW textile teamQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Surface Design, or related field3–4 years of textile or print design experience preferredStrong portfolio demonstrating print, pattern, embroidery, and color workProficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesignStrong understanding of print repeats, color separation, and textile productionKnowledge of woven, knit, and embroidery techniquesExcellent eye for color, detail, and compositionStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentPreferred Skills:Experience in women's contemporary fashionKnowledge of overseas textile development processesUnderstanding of fabric printing techniques and embroidery applicationsFamiliarity with trend forecasting and seasonal market researchAbility to hand sketch or paint original artworkExperience with PLMPay is based on multiple factors, such as qualifications/skills/experience, geography, and state and local wage laws.
