Lead Mohs Microtechnology Specialist l Dermatology

Lead Mohs Microtechnology Specialist Scheduled Weekly Hours: 38 days. Location: Onalaska Clinic, no weekend or holiday hours required. Responsibilities Serve as a liaison between staff, the manager, and Mohs surgeons to support strong communication and collaboration. Ensure lab facilities, equipment, and the work environment are maintained for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Maintain accurate documentation, record keeping, and service logs. Lead dermatology laboratory immunohistochemistry staining operations, including staining technique, control selection, and reagent titration. Keep procedure manuals current, accurate, and aligned with regulatory requirements. Qualifications Graduate of a Medical Assistant program, Practical Nursing program, or Vocational Nurse program or have completed education to be eligible for NCLEX‑PN. High School Diploma or equivalency and attainment of a Medical Assistant Certification BLS for healthcare workers. Medical Assistant Certification within 15 months of hire date. Minimum of 3 years of Mohs (histology) experience. Compensation & Benefits Starting pay of $24.36/hour plus additional pay for experience.
