Baker Wanted - Cakes and Pasteries
The Macaroon Shop is a well-known bakery at the New Jersey shore. Our products are made on-site from premium ingredients. We take pride in offering high-quality bakery products and providing exceptional customer service.
We're looking for a talented, dependable baker who takes pride in producing quality products.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake cakes (no cake decorating), butter cookies, pies, cheesecake, danish, eclairs, turnovers, napoleons, etc.
- Follow recipes while maintaining consistency and quality
- Assist with preparing buttercream, fillings, and other bakery components
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
- Clean bakery equipment as needed
- Help with inventory management
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations
Qualifications
- 1+ years Professional Baking experience or a Culinary Program Degree
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Ability to multi-task
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
We are seeking someone who is positive, hardworking, enjoys baking, and is looking for a long-term position. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
