After-School Nanny & Household Hero

Looking for a fun, reliable, and proactive household superhero to help keep our busy family running smoothly! We're a warm, energetic family with two awesome girls (1st and 5th grade), a friendly dog, and a belief that teamwork, kindness, and laughter make everything better. We are located in the Chevy Chase/Friendship Heights area. What you'll do: School and activity pickups Help with homework and encourage good habits Prepare simple dinners and keep the kitchen tidy Support the kids in cleaning up after themselves Handle family laundry and light household organization Occasional errands, grocery runs, or dog walks Create a calm, positive after-school routine Participate in impromptu dance parties We're looking for someone who: Enjoys working with children and can balance fun with structure Is organized, communicative, and self‑directed Doesn't mind pitching in with household tasks when the kids are occupied Has a safe driving record and reliable transportation Schedule: Approximately 9–12 hours per week, Monday–Thursday afternoons during the school year and summer. Typical hours are 3:30-6:30/7, with occasional later evenings (8:30). We may also ask for weekend babysitting jobs. This is a great role for a college student who enjoys being part of a family team, helping children grow into capable humans, and taking pride in creating a well‑run home.
