HiFyve is hiring a 1st Shift Production Supervisor for a manufacturing facility!

Salary: $55,000 - $75,000/year

Shift Options:

1st Shift: Full-time day shift schedule

Location: Little Canada, MN 55126

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead and support production team members to achieve daily production goals.

Assign work, monitor performance, and provide regular coaching and feedback.

Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Train and onboard new employees on job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.

Conduct performance evaluations and develop employee growth plans.

Partner with Maintenance to coordinate equipment startup, shutdown, and preventative maintenance.

Collaborate with Scheduling to ensure materials and production needs are met.

Work closely with Human Resources to address employee questions, performance concerns, and workplace issues.

Maintain accurate production records, employee documentation, and payroll-related information.

Investigate and document workplace incidents and serve as a first responder for safety events.

Support process improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.

Ensure smooth communication and transition between shifts.

Step into production roles when needed to support business operations.

Monitor production operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.

Identify issues and communicate concerns to appropriate team members.

Maintain a positive and productive manufacturing environment.

Education & Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience.

Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.

Experience with employee training and performance management.

Plastics manufacturing or recycled materials experience preferred.

Associate degree in Leadership, Production Control, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.

Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the manufacturing facility.

Frequent movement around the production floor to monitor operations and support employees.

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as needed.

Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with machinery, noise, and continuous production activity.

Ability to safely interact with production equipment and employees.

Ability to assist with production tasks when needed.

Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail while managing multiple priorities.

Ability to work a consistent 1st shift schedule.
