The Manager, RFP Unit, leads the day-to-day operations of the Proposal Management team and oversees the successful execution of proposal development activities in support of MissionSquare's institutional and field sales business acquisition and retention efforts.

The team is responsible for managing RFP projects from inception to completion; executing proposal strategies and priorities established by leadership; writing proposal content; collaborating with subject matter experts and key personnel to ensure accurate responses; and producing final proposal documentation.

Essential Functions for this role include:

• Manage, coach, and monitor all aspects of the RFP project management process and ensure timely completion and delivery of bids.
• Lead and develop a high-performing proposal management team, fostering employee growth, engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Bring deep expertise in RFP, RFI, and DDQ processes, including content management, governance, quality assurance, and workflow management.
• Perform Management Review of all proposals before Corporate Review for quality assurance, adherence to company policies, approved pricing strategy and bid solicitation requirements, and consistency with proposed sales strategy.
• Experience with proposal technologies, content platforms, automation, and AI that improve quality and scale.
• Ensure the integrity of data stored in the proposal content database.
• Implement and continuously improve processes, procedures, and workflows that maximize efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of proposal materials produced.
• Support and continuously improve team processes, tools, and workflow effectiveness.
• Serve as a tactical and operational resource to sales teams throughout the proposal development process.
• Collaborate with other divisions to facilitate the development of accurate and high-quality proposal materials.
• Performs other duties as assigned

If you have the following skills, we encourage you to apply:

• 7-10 years of experience managing the full lifecycle of the RFP response process within financial services.
• 2-5 years of people leadership, supervisory, or team management experience.
• Knowledge of proposal operations, workflow management, resource allocation, and quality assurance practices.
• Knowledge of proposal management processes, tools, workflow effectiveness, and continuous improvement practices.
• Knowledge of RFP, RFI, and DDQ response processes, content management, governance, and proposal review practices.
• Skill in managing proposal operations, workflow priorities, and timely completion and delivery of bids.
• Skill in allocating resources and coordinating proposal development activities to deliver accurate, high-quality materials.
• Skill in quality assurance, content governance, proposal review, and adherence to bid solicitation requirements.
• Skill in implementing and continuously improving processes, procedures, and workflows that maximize efficiency, effectiveness, and quality.
• Skill in monitoring team performance, managing work outcomes, and fostering employee growth and engagement.
• Ability to lead proposal development activities and deliver accurate, high-quality, compliant proposal responses.
• Ability to make moderately complex operational decisions using sound judgment, initiative, and established business priorities.
• Ability to lead and develop a high-performing proposal management team while fostering employee growth, engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to identify and drive process improvements that enhance workflow effectiveness, operational efficiency, and quality of proposal materials.
• Ability to execute proposal strategies, priorities, and business objectives established by leadership.
• Ability to maintain a strong customer focus while balancing multiple proposal priorities and supporting sales teams throughout the proposal development process.
