Job Full Description

Maintenance Technician - Food Production Facility

Location: NE Portland, OR
Job Type: Full-Time (8-hour shifts)
Compensation: $27-30 p/hr DOE

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of general maintenance tasks throughout the plant as assigned
Work closely with a maintenance manager to complete scheduled tasks
Engage in facility upkeep projects, including painting and basic repairs
Ensure all work is done safely and efficiently
Wear closed-toed shoes at all times for safety (required)
No heavy lifting required for this position

Skills & Qualifications:

Motivated and willing to take initiative on maintenance tasks
Comfortable spending full 8-hour shifts on your feet performing hands-on work
Basic painting and general repair skills a plus
Must enjoy working as part of a team and take direction well

Experience Required:

Hands-on machine maintenance experience in a food production or similar manufacturing setting
Ability to read schematics and interpret mechanical/electrical diagrams
Solid electrical knowledge for troubleshooting and basic repairs
