Helicopter Avionics Technician

Avionics TechnicianWe are seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to support maintenance, installation, and modification projects on helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft. This role involves troubleshooting avionics systems, performing wiring and harness work, and ensuring all work is completed to regulatory and company quality standards.Responsibilities:Troubleshoot, repair, and install avionics systems and components.Fabricate, route, and terminate aircraft wiring and wire harnesses.Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.Perform functional testing and system checks.Complete maintenance records and required documentation.Support aircraft modification, upgrade, and inspection projects.Follow all safety and quality procedures.Qualifications:4+ years of avionics experience in an aviation environment.Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.Experience with avionics installations, repairs, and wire harness fabrication.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.Ability to work overtime as project demands require.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with helicopter avionics systems.Familiarity with Garmin, Honeywell, or similar avionics equipment.FAA A&P certification and/or FCC GROL.Experience in commercial, military, corporate, or rotorcraft operations.Work Environment:Work is performed in a fast-paced hangar environment supporting aircraft maintenance, modifications, and avionics upgrades. Candidates should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bensalem, PA.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
