Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical Floor registered nurse position is located in Augusta, Georgia. This role involves providing patient care on a medical-surgical unit with approximately 40 beds, supporting a team of nurses, PCTs, and unit staff. The position offers an opportunity to work in a facility renowned for its burn center and comprehensive medical services.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Georgia registered nurse license, BLS certification, 1+ years of experience in medical-surgical nursing.
• Preferred Qualifications: No additional preferred qualifications specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to similar units as needed.
• Additional Information:
  • Unit specifics include staffing of 7 nurses, 4 PCTs, and 1 clinical nurse coordinator per shift.
  • Documentation is maintained using Meditech.
  • The unit performs procedures such as EKGs, Glucometer tests, and Venipuncture.
  • The dress code requires a royal blue top and bottom uniform.
