General Manager: Oregon, IL

Our client is seeking a General Manager to play an integral role in the daily operations and continued growth of a residential and commercial door installation and service company. Working closely with the Owner, this individual will share responsibility for managing the business, creating greater capacity for both leaders to focus on customers, employees, operations, and growth. This is a hands-on leadership role with involvement across multiple areas of the business, including customer relations, sales and quoting, scheduling, inventory, ordering, invoicing, recruiting, and overall workflow. The General Manager will also maintain a visible presence in the field, meeting with customers, evaluating projects, and supporting the installation team.

Key  Responsibilities:

• Overseeing daily operations, scheduling, inventory, ordering, invoicing, and workflow 
• Leading and supporting field installers and office personnel 
• Recruiting, onboarding, and helping train new employees as the team grows 
• Meeting with residential, agricultural, commercial, and contractor customers 
• Evaluating project needs and preparing recommendations, estimates, and quotes 
• Developing customer relationships and helping drive sales growth 
• Coordinating projects between customers, the office, warehouse, and installation teams 
• Managing customer questions and ensuring issues are resolved quickly and professionally 
• Helping establish processes and structure that support continued company growth

Skills & Experience :

• Education : High School Diploma,  required
• Experience : 1+ year of garage door experience,  required
• Knowledge:  Strong understanding of garage door products, installation, service, and/or repair,   required
• Software:  Proficiency with Microsoft Office,   required ,  Experience with QuickBooks, preferred

Pay: $100,000/year base salary + annual bonus

Type: Full-time, 1st Shift, On-Site

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:15 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
