SALES ASSISTANT

Sales Assistant to VP of Sales Location: Midtown Manhattan, NY (In-Office, 5 Days/Week) About my client: They are a growing wholesale company specializing in high-quality hardline goods, expanding our reach across multiple retail channels. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Sales Assistant to support our Sales team in driving growth, maintaining strong retail partnerships, and growing with our company. Position Overview The Sales Assistant will work closely with one to two account executives to support day-to-day sales operations, coordinate customer meetings, and help ensure seamless execution of sales strategies. Key Responsibilities Provide direct support to the Account Executive in managing customers Assist in preparing for buyer meetings, presentations, and line reviews (including materials, samples, and data) Coordinate communication with retail buyers, vendors, and internal teams Track orders, inventory, and sales performance to ensure timely fulfillment and follow-up Help identify and research potential sales leads and new business opportunities Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, pricing, and orders Support upselling initiatives by preparing product recommendations and sales materials Collaborate with internal departments (operations, logistics, marketing) to ensure alignment and execution Assist in analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback Qualifications 3 years of experience in a sales support, account coordination, or administrative role - wholesale Exposure to corporate retail environments or consumer goods industry is a plus Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); CRM experience is a plus Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow in a sales career Salary: $75,000 per year BOE + Full Benefits #J-18808-Ljbffr Stock Executive Search
