Growing together.The Accounting Supervisor in the SEC Reporting group will perform various functions in the following areas:SEC ReportingPrepares and reviews financial statements and disclosuresReviews and analyzes supporting documentation for appropriatenessCoordinates with corporate functions (e.g. Treasury, Legal) and Segment Finance teams for various disclosuresActively conducts research to ensure compliance with applicable SEC/GAAP requirements and changesReviews earning release documents and prepares supporting filesCoordinates with the corporate legal team to file 8-Ks and other filingsPresentations and Other External ReportingReviews to ensure agreement with prior published information.Researches and resolves discrepancies with the appropriate partiesCoordinates with various departments (Investor Relations, Segment Finance, etc.) to ensure documents are accurate and fully supportedReviews and analyzes supporting documentation for appropriatenessMonthly Close ResponsibilitiesPrepares/reviews basic and diluted weighted share countPrepares/reviews monthly consolidated statement of cash flowsAudit ResponsibilitiesProvides applicable workpapers, documentation and responses to both internal and external auditors in a timely mannerReviews applicable workpapers, responses and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and appropriatenessEscalates questions and issues to the appropriate audience (internal management, auditors)Communicates effectively with auditors at appropriate levels to resolve issues and findingsThe responsibilities of this position also include, but are not limited to, the following:Reviewing the work of othersDeveloping innovative approaches for continued improvement in efficiency and effectivenessServing as a subject-matter expertYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications: Bachelor degree with concentration in Accounting3+ years of accounting experienceSolid understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC standardsIntermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft ExcelPreferred Qualifications:CPABig 4 public accounting experience, including exposure to public company financial statementsHealthcare experienceExperience with technical accounting research a plusAbility to effectively complete projects in a timely mannerOutstanding attention to detailSuperior written and verbal communication skillsPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
