Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing standardized assessments and observational methods.
• Create individualized treatment plans designed to meet immediate and ongoing speech, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy focused on enhancing language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapists, occupational therapists, physicians, and families to ensure seamless care delivery.
• Provide education to patients and families, equipping them with strategies to support progress outside the therapy setting.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring continuity and consistency of care for all clients.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation as per state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through continuing education and collaboration with peers.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification has not yet been achieved.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
