Pediatric Caregiver

About the Role Our client is seeking a compassionate and reliable Pediatric Caregiver to provide essential support to families with young children in Welkom . This hybrid role involves a combination of in-home care and potentially some remote coordination or administrative tasks. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and developmental engagement of children, creating a positive and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, experience with children of various ages, and the ability to adapt to the needs of different families, while offering flexibility and professional support. Key Responsibilities Provide direct care and supervision for children in their homes, ensuring their safety and well-being. Engage children in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities. Assist with daily routines, including feeding, bathing, and preparing children for activities. Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's activities, behaviour, and development. Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children. Perform light housekeeping duties related to the children's care. Requirements Previous experience as a caregiver, nanny, or similar role, preferably with pediatric focus. First Aid and CPR certification is essential. Excellent knowledge of child development stages. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
