The Clay County Withdrawal Management Detox Facility is now accepting applications to be considered for an open position as a Variable Hour (Part-Time) Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Date Posted : 4/27/2026
Application Deadline : Open until filled with the first review of applications on 5/11/2026. Starting Wage : $33.36 per hour - Full Salary Range: $33.36-$47.06 per hour Status: Non-Exempt Shifts : Day Hours: Average no more than 19 hours per weekMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- MN Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor
- 1-3 years of related work experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to successfully complete a background check
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct chemical use screening on all clients.
- Provide resources and referrals.
- Complete required documentation.
- Complete comprehensive assessments when needed.
