Job Title: Assembler & Machine Operator

Job Description

This role focuses on assembling and inspecting high-quality fitness equipment used in both commercial facilities and home settings. You work with units and component parts to build treadmills, exercise bikes, elliptical cross-trainers, rowers, and strength and group training equipment, following established procedures in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Build fitness equipment and related products by assembling units and component parts according to established procedures and assembly drawings.

• Inspect assembled products and components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during mechanical assembly tasks.

• Read and interpret blueprints or assembly drawings to correctly position and secure parts.

• Measure components accurately using tape measures and other basic measuring tools.

• Follow standard work instructions and production processes in a team-based assembly line environment.

Essential Skills

• At least 6 months of general production and general labor experience.

• Ability to perform basic math, including addition and subtraction, to support measuring and assembly tasks.

• Minimum 6 months of experience using hand tools and power tools in a mechanical or assembly environment.

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with mechanical components and assemblies.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Owatonna, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $20.75/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
