Pharmacy Technician Lead

Lead a team of Pharmacy Technicians to ensure that the operation of healthcare at CH Pharmacies is effective, efficient, professional, and in accordance with current regulations and laws. Provide training and coaching/feedback for sterile compounding technicians. Provide appropriate pharmaceutical care to patients and staff of Cottage Hospital.

QUALIFICATIONS

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations

* Minimum: Pharmacy Technician Licensure by the California State Board of Pharmacy.
* Preferred: National Pharmacy Technician Board Certification(s).

Technical Requirements

Minimum
* Qualified as Pharmacy Tech II
* Computer skills and knowledge of pharmacy technology
* Must pass CH Pharmacy administered tech-check-tech competency exam plus accuracy test.
* Leadership and production of hazardous and non-hazardous sterile compounding
* Coordination of inventory control to support sterile compounding
* Sterile compounding quality assurance
* Knowledge of USP <797> and USP <800>

Years of Related Work Experience

* Minimum: Three (3) years of hospital pharmacy experience required.

*Pay for non-physician positions is determined based on related years of experience and internal equity. Eligible employees may also receive additional forms of compensation, including shift differentials, on-call pay, incentive pay, and bonus opportunities, where applicable.
