Conduct thorough evaluations across various age groups, utilizing standardized assessments and observational methods.

Craft tailored treatment strategies that address immediate objectives as well as long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.

Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions focused on areas such as communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, family members, and caregivers to design integrated care plans.

Provide education for patients and families to encourage progress outside the clinical environment.

Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions for speech therapy, ensuring seamless care throughout the treatment process.

Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.

Stay updated with the latest developments in the field through continuing education and teamwork.

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Required within 30 days of employment: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Proficiency in evidence-based treatment approaches across the lifespan, with a solid grasp of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing issues.

Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams.

Able to modify therapeutic interventions to honor diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities.

Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation standards.
