What We're Doing Our team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) team at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. While we are part of a large organization, we operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies.

The Work In this vital role, you will be: Partnering directly with the Cyber Engineering organization to embed and validate cybersecurity solutions on the C2BMC platform at COS HWY-83, ensuring that all security controls are correctly implemented and fully tested. You will serve as the primary liaison with the Cyber Test Facility (CTF) at MIDOC, where they will coordinate test events, validate test plans submitted by cyber teams, and will be required to brief program leadership on their analysis of the test plan while assisting the teams in identifying the specific cyber requirements needed for successful execution. Please Note: This position requires a DoD government security clearance at the Top Secret level prior to start; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration. The role will involve approximately 10% travel to customer sites throughout the U.S.

Our national team supports the design, development, testing, integration, and fielding of hardware and software elements essential for the effective operation of the Missile Defense System (MDS). Who You Are You are a dedicated professional with a strong background in cybersecurity and a passion for missile defense technologies. You thrive in collaborative environments and are adept at working under technical direction to implement innovative solutions. Your experience with cybersecurity platforms and your ability to engage with agile teams will be essential to your success in this role. You are well-versed in Risk Management Framework (RMF), collaborate well with others, and have a keen eye for process improvement.

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years' of relevant cybersecurity experience • In-depth knowledge of STIGs, Ansible, and/or vulnerability scanning and network assessment tools • Ability to communicate with a cross functional team of system engineers, network engineers and software developers

Work Schedule

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $101,000 - $178,135. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
