About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience required in Emergency Department License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH required; CPI, PALS, TNCC preferred Must-Have: - Epic charting experience required - Previous Charge RN & Level 2 Trauma experience preferred Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room. The schedule consists of three 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling. A zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences is in place. The candidate must complete compliance requirements by the stipulated deadline. The position requires the ability to manage a variety of patient diagnoses. Key responsibilities include management of arterial lines, ventilated patients, and dysrhythmias. Candidates will be involved in the care of patients with trauma, including neuro-trauma and spinal cord injuries. A Pass/Fail EKG exam is required for all RNs prior to submission. The candidate should be prepared for this requirement, as study material will not be provided. Preferred skills include care for orthopedic trauma and interpretation of arterial blood gases. We have a collaborative environment, with interdisciplinary support available. Candidates are expected to float to different campuses as needed. This position may require weekend and holiday shifts. Candidates will be expected to provide exceptional patient care and support in an Emergency Room setting.
