Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Manage and monitor ventilator and non-invasive ventilation support for diverse patient populations.
  
  
• 
  Perform airway management procedures and provide ongoing respiratory therapy interventions.
  
  
• 
  Consult with physicians to determine appropriate respiratory care plans.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care and ventilator settings using computerized charting systems.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and supplies through Pyxis medication management as required.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with safety protocols and facility policies, including vaccination and licensure requirements.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a Hawaii State Respiratory Therapy License.
  
  
• 
  Possess a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in respiratory therapy.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications; RRT certification preferred.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate ability to care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
  
  
• 
  Able to pass a flu vaccination or obtain a medical/religious exemption prior to start.
  
  
• 
  Capable of working night shifts (1830 to 0700) on a three 12-hour shift schedule.
