Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant PTA Full Time

Position Overview: As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will deliver skilled education, treatments, and interventions under the guidance of a physical therapist and physician, focusing on patient care in a home health setting. Key Responsibilities Provide direct physical therapy services, treatments, and procedures aligned with the plan of care. Communicate regularly with patients and caregivers regarding care plans and progress. Report patient observations and changes to supervisors and physicians. Assist in relieving pain and restoring or maintaining functional performance. Educate patients and caregivers on the safe use of assistive devices and rehabilitation techniques. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and discuss care plans. Plan and communicate discharge instructions and care continuity. Participate in ongoing education and maintain professional standards and confidentiality. Qualifications & Skills Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
