Shipping and Receiving Associate
The Shipping and Receiving Associate is integral to the daily shipping and receiving operations while also contributing to general company initiatives. This role involves accurately processing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory records, supporting workplace safety efforts, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments.
- Prepare and package outgoing customer materials and laboratory supplies.
- Maintain shipping documentation and inventory records.
- Coordinate shipments with internal departments and shipping carriers.
- Promote a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Support operational and administrative projects as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Attention to detail.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Ability to safely operate shipping equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in production.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent lifting of packages up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and material handling.

Work Environment
Work in a structured environment with hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, focusing on shipping and receiving operations.
Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cary, NC.
Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
