Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and proactive Customer Service Representative to join their team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be an integral part of the Customer Support Department, supporting various teams to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to professional growth, aligning seamlessly with the company's values and goals.

Location: Des Plaines, IL

Pay Range: $24-30

Shift: Monday - Friday 7AM-3:30PM

What's the Job?

• Provide timely and accurate communication regarding customer orders, product availability, and pricing information.
• Receive and process customer orders efficiently, ensuring all specific product and shipping requirements are met.
• Maintain and update customer profiles, cross-reference files, and shipping arrangements within current systems.
• Monitor order statuses, address late or held orders, and explore alternative solutions for on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as Product Marketing, Field Sales, and Quality Control to resolve customer issues and ensure satisfaction.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma required; an Associate's degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a customer service or order processing role.
• Proficiency with database, inventory, manufacturing, and order processing software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work effectively within a team environment.
• Experience in Manufacturing or Logistics setting
