Service Advisor – Jaguar Land Rover-Cary The Service Advisor is responsible for serving as a liaison between the Service Department technicians and the parts department while maintaining customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include: Meet & greet customers with courtesy and efficiency. Determine the appropriate course of action and obtain customer authorization. Write up service needs and give customers an accurate estimate for cost and completion time. Communicate effectively with customers to achieve satisfactory repairs and promote sale of necessary repair or maintenance services. Understand and explain warranty and service/insurance policies. Keep customers informed and advise them of the prognosis of their vehicle. Call customers to set appointments and answer telephones in a timely manner. Attend and complete required training and department meetings. Qualifications High School Diploma and one year of related sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Current valid driver’s license. Good reading, writing and math skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide outstanding customer service. Ability to work retail hours. Computer proficiency.
