Position Overview

Magejestic Movement Physical Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Physical Therapist to join our orthopedic outpatient practice located in Dulles, Virginia. In this role, you will be instrumental in helping our patients regain their mobility, enhance their functionality, and improve their overall quality of life. As a Physical Therapist (PT), your primary focus will be on delivering personalized patient care through assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation tailored to their specific needs.

Work Environment

The position involves onsite work within our modern, spacious, and fully equipped 5000 square foot outpatient office that serves as a hub for sports medicine and rehabilitation. Collaborate closely with a team of two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), creating a cohesive environment focused on delivering high-quality care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their goals and barriers to rehabilitation, allowing you to create tailored care plans.
• Manage a consistent caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring each patient receives dedicated and focused attention.
• Utilize effective treatment methods designed to improve patient mobility, decrease pain, and promote physical well-being.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment programs, integrating various therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and education.
• Monitor and document progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving patient needs.
• Engage with patients and motivate them to remain committed to their treatment plans, fostering a positive outlook toward their journey of recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach, referring patients to specialists when necessary.
• Provide education on injury prevention and wellness, guiding patients on lifestyle modifications to enhance their physical health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves a diverse patient population covered by private medical insurance. The majority of our patients are dealing with orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain, and mobility impairments. Your expertise as a Physical Therapist will make a significant impact on their recovery journeys, allowing them to return to their active lives.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid Virginia license to practice as a Physical Therapist, with a clean professional record free from disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrable proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to execute effective exercise protocols specific to orthopedic conditions.
• Familiarity with WebPT electronic medical record (EMR) software for documentation and treatment tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative care team.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, reflecting your qualifications and experience.
