Position Summary: Swank Construction Company, LLC is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a General Laborer for our construction division. This position is an essential part of our crew, performing a variety of manual tasks to support various construction activities. This is a physically demanding job that requires a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work as part of a team. Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Successful candidates will be able to perform the following essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to perform physical labor activities which includes, but is not limited to, lifting, pulling, pushing, and/or carrying different types of objects/materials. Preparing worksite zones, installing traffic barricades, cones, markers, and controlling traffic passing near, in, and around work zones. Assist with setting up and dismantling scaffolding, barricades, and other temporary structures. Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment using hand tools and machinery. Operate a variety of equipment, which includes, jackhammers, plate tampers, concrete mortar/mixers, electric/hydraulic machines, torches, seal pots, chainsaw/quickie saws, heavy walk behind flat saws drills, and power tools. Assist in jackhammering, mixing, and pouring concrete. Caring for company tools/equipment/machines. Keeps job site clean of all unused/waste materials and ensures all equipment is stored in a safe and secure manner. Ensure the practice of safety standards in accordance with company policies and OSHA. Willingness to perform and learn different aspects of the Construction Laborer position. Workdays & Shifts: Must be available to work varied shifts (days, nights, weekends). Willingness to travel for extended periods of time. Education/Certifications/Licenses: High school diploma or equivalent- Preferred. Valid driver's license - Preferred. Experience & Knowledge: Prior experience working as a laborer or equivalent experience - Preferred. Mechanical aptitude - Preferred. Other Requirements: Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older.
