General Description of Position:
• Helps with clerical tasks that insure the efficient operation of a school office.
• Completes other clerical tasks requested by teachers in support of student learning.
• Supervises students during non-instructional time as directed by the building principal.
• Acts as a receptionist in the main office when secretary is not available.
• Assists with Nurse's duties.
• Operates and maintains district copying equipment as directed by the building principal.
• Assists in student registration process when requested by the building principal.
• Assists in maintaining building files and records.
• Fills in where needed when requested by the building principal.
• Demonstrates cooperation, courtesy and willingness to improve conditions and situations involving staff, parents and students.
• Attends work regularly, dresses appropriately, is conscious of responsibilities, maintains confidentiality, and conducts tasks with integrity.
• Fosters good public relations.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned by the building principal.
