In search of a commercial cleaner to clean daytime 5-6 days a week (zip code 32220)  

Monday - Saturday (10-2pm shift)

This is a position inside of a warehouse. Daily tasks will be collecting and taking out trash, using a blower to blow out the garage area, using a ride on auto scrubber, using a burnisher for floors inside, etc

Floor care experience is preferred, but not necessary. Employee will be fully trained on all machines.

This will total on average 24 hours a week .

Payroll cycle is every two weeks

Join our dynamic team at ANCIENT CITY JANITORIAL LLC as a Commercial Cleaner (Warehouse) in Jacksonville, FL! We are looking for dedicated individuals to help maintain cleanliness and hygiene in our warehouse facilities during daytime hours, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our clients.

Job Position Description:
This position is responsible for creating cleaner and healthier environments for our customer’s buildings and grounds by performing the following duties and responsibilities. Duties include but not limited to:

• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools and procedures
• Sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, restroom cleaning, windows, dusting
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks in warehouse areas, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
• Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free from debris and hazards.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining cleanliness of storage areas.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning duties.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve cleanliness goals efficiently.
• Complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes to ensure operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift moderate weights.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential.
• Effective communication skills and a positive demeanor.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is a plus.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Physical Demands and Qualifications:

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25lbs.
• Will provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• The ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job is a must.
• Contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on time
• Treat all co-workers and customers with courtesy and respect
