What Manufacturing Management contributes to Cardinal HealthManufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment. Manufacturing Management is responsible for strategic oversight and leadership direction within the Manufacturing function.Qualifications8-12 years of experience, preferredFluent English proficiency, preferredBachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferredSolid and proven management and leadership experience to include leading a multi-disciplinary teamResponsibilitiesOversees administration of all assembly and production operations at a single siteManages the attainment of production goals and KPI’s including production goals, strategic initiatives, headcount and quality standardResponsible for P&L and wellbeing of the departmentDevelops and works to achieve plant specific goals and budgetsEvaluates, adjusts, and manages workforce planning/ staffing levels based on customer insights, orders, and site demandEnsures adherence to all quality standard operating procedures through collaboration with the quality team to identify and mitigate quality risk factors. Administers company policies and proceduresPromotes Operational Excellence and emphasizes an environment that fosters teamwork, due diligence, and commitment to satisfy customer requirementsDevelops and executes manufacturing and Operational Excellence strategies to achieve overall Company strategic objectivesApproves, influences, and oversees the annual expense budgets for areas of responsibilityAll employees are expected to pay attention to and work in support of a safe and healthy work environment.
