This is a first shift position working a 9/80 work schedule. The position will include some work from home days. \n

We're seeking a skilled New Product Introduction Engineer to join the C4ISR Systems NPI Team servicing programs in both the Merrimack and Hudson, NH area. We are rapidly developing new technologies to gain market entry and position ourselves for large production awards. This role will lead the transition to production of cutting-edge space radio frequency products and others, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work format.\n
\nOver the next year, this role will focus heavily on collaboration with Engineering to develop the technical baseline with manufacturability in mind, create a manufacturing make/ where strategy and transition to production strategy for rapid productionization of cutting-edge products, transition products from engineering to manufacturing coordinating with multiple locations and sites across the US. This candidate will coordinate and lead transition to production, production ramp 2 rate, and continuous improvement efforts to drive manufacturing efficiency. You'll work directly with the Operations Program Manager and with the cross functional program teams to support initial demos and large-scale production awards with dynamic ramp to rate timelines.\n
\nThis individual will require heavy internal coordination with other ES manufacturing sites and the Space and Mission Systems Sector to develop work plans/funding/strategy to determine where these products will be built and what capital investments will be required from the business to succeed.\n
\n
\nPosition Responsibilities:\n

\n
• Partnering and collaborating with multiple other organizations throughout the product life cycle, including: Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain
\n
• Experience leading and supporting early product and process development life cycles for complex RF systems
\n
• Experience in rapid production ramp 2 rate efforts
\n
• Leading program teams and provide active support and strategic solutions for: Design to Unit Production Cost (DTUPC), Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Test (DFT)
\n
• AS9145 facilitation and implementation
\n
• Coordinate/ populate/ facilitate Transition to Production (TTP) process in a timely manner
\n
• Understanding of cost drivers and how to mitigate them inclusive of test yield, manufacturing yield, scrap, etc.
\n
• Interpreting and applying manufacturing learning curve and improvement strategies across multiple programs
\n
• Review of engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
\n
• Support proposals, cost evaluation activities, and prepare Basis of Estimates (BOE's)
\n
• Actively participate in Program PDR, CDR, and IDR as assessor
\n
• Assist in the design, fabrication, and validation of fixtures, tooling, and test equipment for production
\n
• Identify, propose, execute Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives
\n
• Provide mentorship and technical expertise/ guidance to others
\n

Required Education, Experience, & Skills \n
\n

\n
• BS in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent 6+ years of relevant working experience.
\n
• Experience in having to rapidly advance from prototypes to high volume manufacturing
\n
• Experience in working with RF systems
\n
• Ability to lead in a cross-functional team environment, with a customer-focused approach, and an aptitude for continuous improvement in serving internal and external customers
\n
• Demonstrated success in implementing lean manufacturing, yield management and resolution of a complex product base, and supply chain initiatives inclusive of AS9145 and Lean Six Sigma practices
\n
• Experience in working in New Product Introduction environments and transitioning designs to production
\n
• Strong understanding of manufacturing methods and cost improvement activities
\n
• Demonstrated experience supporting product development into stable production environments
\n
• Highly effective team player working in a fast-paced environment and able to self-manage and prioritize schedule and responsibilities
\n
• Exhibit sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and communicating with team members, Programs, Process Engineers, Engineering Assistants, and Operators
\n
• Receptive to change, learning new things, and evolving in dynamic environment
\n

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills \n
\n

\n
• Understanding of the assembly and testing methods of circuit cards, RF circuitry, and RF IC's
\n
• Experience in working in New Product Introduction environments and transitioning designs to production
\n
• Proven experience in being able to rapidly transition a product from prototype to high volume production
\n
• Experience with AS9145, DTUPC, Design for Test, Design for Manufacturing
\n
• Knowledge of reviewing change orders and their impact on the production floor
\n
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite of Products and Dataview type programs
\n
• Experience in managing program teams in either a development or production setting
\n
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
\n

Pay Information \n
\nFull-Time Salary Range: $118095 - $200762\n
\n
\nPlease note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. \n
