Division Chief - Nephrology Opening in Cooperstown, NY Post-fellowship practice experience required Position Details:

• Full-time, permanent
• Hospital employed
• Seeking a full-time board-certified Nephrologist
• Division Chief - Nephrology - Cooperstown, NY
• Medical Director stipends range from $55,000 to $85,000
• Sign-on-Bonus up to $100k
• Join and lead an established group of 4 Nephrologists and 2 Nurse Practitioners
• 100% Nephrology Practice
• 60% outpatient clinic and hospital responsibilities
• 40% regional travel to clinics and dialysis centers
• Potential for Medical Directorship of dialysis units
• The call is typically 9 10 weeks per year Monday 8 AM Monday 8 AM.
• 30-50 follow-up dialysis patients
• 10-30 follow-up transplant patients
• Potential for faculty appointment from Columbia
• Daily interaction with medical students as well as Internal Medicine and Transitional residents.
• EMR-EPIC/INFIAN
• Salary Range: $397,500 - $433,000.
• This compensation range represents the group's good faith belief in the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement.
• Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
• The group offers physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap.
• Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
• Medical Director stipends range from $55,000 to $85,000

• Nephrology experience is required
• Leadership experience preferred
Job Qualifications:
• MD, DO or MBBS
• Board Certified in Nephrology and Hypertension
• New York State Licensure
• BLS/ACLS/PALS Certification Required
• DEA Required
