Inpatient Psychiatry opening - Cooperstown, NY Position Details

• Full-time, permanent
• Hospital employed
• Progressive, academic health system in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University
• Established department of 6 Adult Psychiatrists and 2 Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists.
• Call 1 in 5 or better
• Integrated EPIC Electronic Health Record; Medical and Rural Surgery residency programs
• Medical school campus for Columbia University, with academic appointment available
• Department of Psychiatry includes the Division of Inpatient Psychiatry (14 bed acute Inpatient Psychiatry unit, consults to Med-Surg inpatients at several affiliate hospitals, and consults to the Emergency Departments), and the Division of Outpatient Psychiatry (OMH-licensed clinic in Cooperstown NY) with satellites throughout the Group and extensive Telepsychiatry services.
