Maintain repeat repair documentation.Responsible for the quality of repairs in the service workshop.Maintain a high level of cleanliness, organization, and uniform appearance for the entire workshop.Responsible for the efficiency and productivity of the technicians.Participate in the technician hiring decisions, termination and other HR issues.Ensure that all technicians adhere to company policies.Determine the training needs of the techncians and inform management of these needs.Assure that flat rate time assignments are true and accurate.Ensure all technicians adhere to their work schedule, including days off, start time, lunch and finish time.Inform management of any situation or condition that would jeopardize the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its asscoaites, or its customers.Responsible for the implementation of best practices in the workshop:DispatchQuality Control of the work performedManagement of repeat repairsTechnician technical trainingSpecial tool managementQuick access to technical information, tools and equipmentEnsuring that the correct approved repair methods are utilized throughout the workshop.Responsible for having the parts department order the correct parts on the vehicle that is being worked on, If it was the technicians fault that a part was ordered wrong, then the technician will be charged the price of the part up to $50.00 #J-18808-Ljbffr Gettel Automotive Inc
