KFC Assistant Unit ManagerThe Assistant Unit Manager supports the Restaurant General Manager in achieving business goals by leading the restaurant team, ensuring a superior guest experience, and developing team members. This role is a training ground for future restaurant leadership positions.• Partner with the Restaurant General Manager to monitor and achieve performance goals.• Ensure a consistently excellent guest experience by maintaining cleanliness, service quality, and food standards.• Lead by example to uphold high standards of customer service and operational excellence.• Recruit, train, and mentor team members for growth and development.• Communicate business updates, promotions, and team objectives clearly and effectively.• Promote a team-focused and family-oriented work culture.Adaptability & Accountability: Adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands, accepts criticism and feedback, changes approach or method to best fit the situation and takes responsibility for own actions.Analytical Skills: Synthesizes complex or diverse information, prioritizes projects and determines the best way of meeting deadlines and requirements.Attendance & Punctuality: Schedules time off in advance, begins working on time, keeps absences within guidelines, ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent and arrives at meetings and appointments on time.Business Ethics: Works with integrity, adheres to high ethical standards, upholds organizational values, and abides by written policies.
