Production Associate – Process & Quality Focused

Healthy Dogma | Oxford, MI

Healthy Dogma is growing and hiring 1 to 3 additional production associates to support mixing and packaging dog food batches in our food-grade facility. This role is ideal for someone who values clean, organized work, follows process carefully, and takes pride in doing things the right way every time.

Pay: $15–$18 per hour, based on experience
Schedule: 32.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday
Typical hours: Between 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM
Location: Onsite in Oxford, Michigan

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys staying productive, takes ownership of their work, and is comfortable wearing multiple hats. Some days will focus heavily on production and packing. Other days may include order fulfillment, inventory, retail support, or basic office and customer communication.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Pack, weigh, seal, and label dog food and sample bags
• Support daily production and manufacturing activities
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer and wholesale orders
• Receive, organize, and rotate ingredients and packaging supplies
• Maintain accurate product counts and organized inventory areas
• Stock and organize the production, shipping, and retail areas
• Assist occasional customers at our onsite retail outlet
• Answer routine phone calls and emails when needed
• Maintain clean and food-safe work areas
• Help wherever needed to keep the day running smoothly

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Remain on your feet for much of the workday
• Regularly lift and move packages and ingredients
• Safely lift up to 55 pounds when required
• Perform repetitive packing and production tasks
• Use step stools or ladders safely when needed
• Work around food powders, freeze-dried meat, and other dog-food ingredients

• Comfortable using email and basic computer systems
• Interested in dogs, pet wellness, or small-business operations

Production, warehouse, shipping, retail, food-service, or small-business experience is helpful but not required. A strong work ethic, good judgment, and dependable attendance matter more to us than having one specific background.
