Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our facility, you will work onsite in a rehabilitative healthcare environment that provides a sense of community and support among colleagues. Our typical working hours are Monday through Friday, with schedules available from either 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM, as well as an option for four 10-hour shifts for those seeking a condensed workweek. You'll have access to advanced therapeutic equipment and resources to facilitate optimal patient care, and you'll collaborate closely with other health professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' movement disorders and mobility challenges.
• Design and implement customized therapy programs based on individual evaluations and goals.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and the latest rehabilitation techniques to optimize patient recovery.
• Document treatment plans, patient progress, and outcomes in compliance with regulations and best practices.
• Work collaboratively with a comprehensive healthcare team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate care strategies.
• Provide education to patients and their families on rehabilitation techniques and home exercises to promote independence.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Many patients have conditions related to the hands, which necessitates specialized treatment plans that the ideal Physical Therapist will expertly manage. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Current Florida Physical Therapy License or eligibility to obtain licensure.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting.
• Experience working with hand rehabilitation or post-operative recovery preferred.
• Knowledge of and proficiency in using rehabilitation technologies and methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits
