Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification appropriate for K-12 environments
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs
• Strong understanding of instructional practices and accommodations for students with disabilities
• Ability to work effectively with general education teachers, counselors, and support staff
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Prior classroom teaching experience in Special Education preferred

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction aligned with students’ IEPs
• Adapt curriculum to support a range of learning abilities and learning styles
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom atmosphere
• Collaborate with families, therapists, and school staff to monitor student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
• Maintain accurate records, data, and documentation as required
