RN or Registered Nurse (Moses Lake, WA) - Youth Residential Program

Registered Nurse (RN)PsyPhyCare, a division of Business Staffing of America, Inc., is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide on-site medical and wellness services within a federally supported residential youth program in Moses Lake, Washington.Our client operates a comprehensive residential program serving young adults, ages 16–24. The program's mission is to prepare participants for meaningful employment and independent living.This role provides direct clinical services to students and collaborates closely with residential and program staff in a structured, community-based environment.Position OverviewThis is a contract position with part-time availability, up to 20 hours per week.Schedule: Monday–FridayHours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMNo weekends requiredLocation: On-site in Moses Lake, WA (no telehealth or remote option)The Registered Nurse will support the Health & Wellness program through direct patient care, prevention initiatives, health education, and coordination with healthcare providers and interdisciplinary staff.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse will provide on-site nursing services within the scope of practice under the applicable state nurse practice act and facility Wellness Guidelines.Responsibilities include:Triaging urgent and emergent medical situationsProviding first aid, clinical assessments, and basic treatmentMonitoring students with chronic health conditionsAdministering medications and assisting with examinationsCoordinating referrals and follow-up care with healthcare providersMaintaining accurate and timely medical documentation and recordsTracking laboratory results, immunizations, and regulatory compliance requirementsDelivering individual and group health education sessionsMaintaining medical and prescription supply inventoriesProviding staff training on health and wellness topicsCollaborating with community healthcare partners and program leadershipSupporting a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environmentMentoring students through professional role modeling and participation in program initiatives as assignedQualificationsLicensure:Candidates must hold a current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Washington.Client Preferences includes:Youth Experience prefer in school setting.Calm under pressure.Excellent at taking notes.RN could spot learning disabilities and or mental health issues.Someone who could prep medication for the students overnight and the weekends.Experience:Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience in a clinical, school-based, residential, or community health setting required.Experience working with adolescents or young adults preferred.Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred.The salary rate is negotiable.Education:Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.PsyPhyCare is committed to delivering professional and passionate practitioners who impact their world, supporting both the individuals we serve and the communities in which they live and grow.
