Job Summary Geisinger, a nationally recognized leader in innovation and quality care, is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join our team. Job Duties Geisinger Medical Center facilities include a state‑of‑the‑art 10‑room endoscopy suite and motility lab. You will be part of a dynamic, growing, and closely integrated department comprising more than 20 gastroenterologists, 3 hepatologists, and 10 fellows with premier resources for academic and clinical practice. The call schedule is equally shared and averages 4 weeks per year. The Transplant Hepatology program and our fellowship programs in Gastroenterology and Advanced Endoscopy are located at Geisinger Medical Center. Additional responsibilities include outreach to the Geisinger Montoursville Clinic and Geisinger Shamokin Area Hospital. At Geisinger, our Gastroenterologists Enjoy ample opportunity for professional growth, including teaching fellows, residents, and medical students, as well as participation in clinical and endoscopic research as faculty of the Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. Fully integrate with our robust electronic health record (EPIC). Work closely with mature multidisciplinary teams; including Hepatitis C and Inflammatory Bowel Disease with embedded pharmacists on each.
