This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact within a dynamic, publicly traded organization by driving financial reporting excellence, strengthening internal controls, and leading process improvements across the business.If you're a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong leadership skills, a passion for continuous improvement, and experience in public company accounting, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll DoAs an Accounting Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial reporting while partnering with leaders across the organization.Key responsibilities include:Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliationsSupport month-end close, financial reporting, and accounting processesEnsure compliance with GAAP, accounting policies, and internal controlsMonitor adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and standard operating proceduresAnalyze monthly and quarterly financial results and prepare necessary adjustmentsReview consolidated and divisional financial statements and recommend corrections as neededCoordinate and support internal and external audit activitiesPrepare and maintain accounting policy documentationDrive automation initiatives and process improvements to improve efficiency and accuracyConduct financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-makingPartner with division leadership to understand performance results and resolve accounting questionsLead cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiativesPrepare reports and present findings to senior leadershipSupport special projects and ad hoc financial analyses as neededWhat You'll BringRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in AccountingMinimum of 5 years of accounting experienceAt least 3 years of experience with a publicly traded company, public accounting firm, or large/mid-sized private equity-backed organization2+ years of management or leadership experienceStrong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controlsAdvanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systemsExceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsCPA designationOracle ERP experienceExperience with automation and analytics tools such as:VBA/MacrosAlteryxPower BIOther reporting and process automation platformsWhy Join QXO?Opportunity to make an impact in a rapidly growing public companyCollaborate with experienced financial and operational leadersExposure to enterprise-wide initiatives and cross-functional projectsCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefitsCareer growth and advancement opportunitiesTravel: Less than 10% domestic travelPhysical RequirementsWork is performed in a typical office environment and may occasionally require standing, bending, or lifting packages up to 10 pounds.Compensation Range:$96,000.00 - $149,500.00To comply with Pay Transparency laws, employers must disclose an annual salary range.
