Employee Benefits Specialist

Job Description Employee Benefits Specialist Pay Range: $20-23 per hour FT 8:15 am – 5:00 pm Monday-Friday 893 Hope Way, Altamonte Springs Florida 32714 – Hybrid: 3 days in office (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday), 2 days remote (Tuesday, Friday) Assignment Duration: September 2024 through December 2024 Shift: First Work Hours: 8 AM-5 PM Education: Bachelor's Pay offered will be based on multiple factors including education, experience, location, duties, certifications etc. Randstad offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, incentive and recognition program and 401k contribution (eligibility based). Responsibilities Process benefit documents, enrollments and other related workflows and respond to all employee inquiries as it relates to employee benefits, including group health plans, ancillary plans, continuation of coverage and retirement plans in compliance with AH policy and IRS Section 125 regulations; process Affordable Care Act (ACA) related offers of health coverage Provide guidance on benefit plan information to employees and dependents, including new hire enrollment, open enrollment, continuation of coverage information, evidence of insurability applications, death claims and government required notices and compliance documents Maintain a broad knowledge of company policies, benefit plan documents and legal and regulatory updates as it relates to employee benefits and group health and welfare plans Apply documented procedures, policies and other reference materials to accurately resolve employee inquiries, utilize sound judgment and elevate complex cases in a timely manner Calculate and produce invoices for unpaid leaves of absences and manage benefit changes for employees on an unpaid leave; stay abreast on FMLA policy and legal requirements regarding benefit maintenance during periods of protected leave Skills Benefits Administration (1 year experience required) Qualifications Years of experience: 1 year Experience level: Experienced Equal Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.
