Solution Architect

Job Title
We are looking for a highly skilled individual to join our team within the ***. This role will involve developing and governing architecture strategies, blueprints, and related frameworks to support the Global Markets domains. The successful candidate will be a key influencer in strategic technology spending and will be responsible for architecting comprehensive end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- BSc-level degree in computer science or equivalent industry experience
- Finance / Capital Markets Domain Knowledge
- Solution/Technical Architect background
- Broad understanding and experience with a variety of technologies
- Experience with enterprise-level technology strategy in an architecture organization
- Experience in Financial Services, specifically within markets in Trading or Post Trade
- Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Application development knowledge and experience (Enterprise Applications, distributed services, design, analysis)
- Certification or extensive experience in industry best practices in architectural methodologies and standards (e.g. UML, BPMN)
- Modern application development and deployment (Automated Testing, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery)
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Create and maintain domain architecture strategies, blueprints, and roadmaps
- Participate in architecture consulting to enable design decisions
- Act as a control function to ensure adherence of designs to blueprints, architectural principles, and enterprise standards
- Identify risks and influence positive outcomes
- Support vendor selection activities and contribute to the creation and evolution of architectural patterns
