Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
We are hiring for a great client in Bronx, NY. This is an on-site contract opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who will provide direct therapy services, conduct evaluations, and support students with speech and language needs in a school-based setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and write detailed reports
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and service logs in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Support students with articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders
- Provide consultative support to staff regarding speech and language strategies
- Ensure services align with state and federal special education regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active NY SLP license and ASHA CCCs preferred
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of IEP processes and special education compliance
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a caseload and meet documentation deadlines
