Your contributions can help clients improve financial performance, accelerate new digital ventures, and fuel growth through innovation.Work you'll doAs a Data Engineer II on the AI & Data team, you will be responsible for:Design, develop, and deliver data-driven insights for Deloitte and client engagementsUse Python for data extraction, transformation, exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, statistical modeling, and model validationSupport the maintenance of complex economic databases, dashboards, and analytical solutions across Deloitte and client systemsRespond to quick-turn data requests and translate business needs into practical analytical solutions.Develop visualizations, Power BI dashboards, and reports using DAXSupporting the development and deployment of machine learning solutions using Databricks, Unity Catalog, and MLflowAdvising clients on implementation approaches and operational practices across Databricks data, analytics, and machine learning capabilitiesImplementing end-to-end Databricks solutions across data ingestion, transformation, governance, and deployment on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)A successful candidate would possess these skills:Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationshipsAbility to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanorAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to provide clear guidance to othersThe teamDeloitte’s Government & Public Services (GPS) practice – our people, ideas, technology and outcomes – is designed for impact. This compensation range is specific to California and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97,700 to $162,800.You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
