Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours Weekly Guaranteed | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit serving adult and geriatric populations
• Manage a patient ratio of up to 6:1 or 7:1 across a 22-bed unit
• Monitor patients using telemetry equipment and respond to changes in patient condition
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using the MEDITECH electronic health record system
• Float as a second nurse to Telemetry and the Emergency Department as needed
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support surgical, psychiatric, and other complex patient diagnoses

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; minimum Associate Degree in Nursing required
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Ability to float to Telemetry and Emergency Department as a second nurse
• Must meet travel distance requirements to qualify for travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with MEDITECH electronic health record system strongly preferred
• Familiarity with peritoneal dialysis exchanges, surgical care, and psychiatric patient populations
• Strong adaptability and willingness to work within unit scheduling needs
