Job Overview MiniMed is seeking a PD Program Manager for our New Ventures group to lead cross‑functional programs delivering innovative diabetes solutions. Responsibilities Plan and lead New Product Introduction and Sustaining programs from conception through commercialization. Program Planning: develop program charters, plans, resource requirements, key risks, mitigation strategies, schedules, and interdependencies. Program Execution: Lead the program team against plan. Coaching and mentoring members. Effective risk management. Track program schedule. Create, reconcile, and track program budget. Resolve conflicts effectively. Communicate with leadership, management, and team members, including risk and escalation management. Build a high‑performing team with clear communication to leadership, extended team members, and enabling functions. Engage team members to ensure effective dynamics and mutual accountability. Implement program management best practices within the team and influence positive change outside the Program Management team. Provide regular updates and strategies for executive management review and decision making regarding program priorities, budget, timing, resources, and assumptions, including impacts on customers and revenue. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of experience or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience. Nice to Have Program management experience in the medical device domain, particularly Class III implantable devices and external devices that communicate with them. Experience managing Contract Development/Manufacturing organizations. Strong program management skills. Project Management Certification such as PMP. Mastery of product development and new product introduction, including clear understanding of cross‑functional project teams. Knowledge of program phase‑in and phase‑out planning. Influence management skills and experience in a matrix environment. Business acumen and ability to act from a “best for the business” perspective. Results‑oriented, self‑starter with strong initiative and sense of urgency. Enthusiasm to affect change. Track record of leading within complex organizations with strong team leadership and influencing skills. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal effectiveness. Effective decision‑making skills, including negotiation and balancing across functional departments. Strong analytical, planning, organization, and time‑management skills for program and budget execution. Experience with MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, SharePoint, Jira, OneNote, and other collaboration tools. Compensation and benefits vary with experience, certification, market conditions, and location. The position is eligible for a short‑term incentive (STI).
